Time zones and trading days
Why a trade lands on the day it does.
Times are stored exactly and shown in your browser's time zone. A trade belongs to the day it closed.
Futures sessions start the evening before (CME rolls at 18:00 New York time), which is how prop firms count days. Where the journal offers a session or calendar day setting, it decides whether a Sunday evening trade counts for Sunday or Monday.
When importing a CSV, pick the zone the platform wrote its times in. Daylight saving changes are handled per row, so a file that spans a clock change still lines up.
The weekly digest goes out Sunday evening in the time zone your browser had when you turned it on.
